6 IN 1 MULTI-PLANT OPERATOR COURSE - NOVEMBER 2nd 2009
This course is designed for people who wish to gain workcover licence tickets in 5 pieces of plant machinery plus gain a NSW OHS WHITE CARD (Construction Induction). The plant consists of Forklift, Bobcat (skid steer), Excavator, Front End Loader, Backhoe. You will be given instruction and training on all plant and assessed on all plant as part of the course, plus your workcover licence fees are included in the course costs (payable to workcover nsw on successful assessment). You will also complete an OHS White Card course or Senior First Aid Course (participant choice) as part of the course fees. The course will be held at Robinson College in Broken Hill. Course is run as a group class and is limited to a maximum of 8 people per course.

FRONT END LOADER (LL) - ASSESSMENT COURSE
This is the Workcover NSW competency assessment for Front End Loader(LL) and can only be conducted once the necessary Workcover pre-requisites are met and a log book has been completed. Assessment by Workcover Licenced Assessor number AN1002914. Assessment can be done on site or at Robinson College (Plant Hire fees may apply). Fees are as follows - 1 person is $350, 2 people is $270 p/person, 3 people is $200 p/person and 4 or more people is $150 p/person

FRONT END LOADER (LL) - TRAINING COURSE
This course consists of theory and practical training to a total of 20 hours. Workcover NSW competency based training, Learn to conduct pre and post start up checks, plan work, operate the machine, load and unload, shift soil, level a site, load a truck, perform shut downs and secure worksites. Training can be done onsite or at Robinson College (Plant Hire fee may apply).

This course is for people to gain the competencies to be assessed to operate a forklift (LF) as per Workcover NSW requirements. The Course is 20 hours training with theory and practical components to be completed. Learn to transfer and shift loads including pre and post operational checks, planning work, learning the controls, shift and stack a load, load and unload, shutting down equipment, securing a worksite. SKID STEER LOADER/BOBCAT (LS) - TRAINING COURSE
This course is Workcover NSW approved and gives the participant the following skills in operating a Skid Steer front end loader, more commonly known as a Bobcat. (LS) The course includes: Conduct routine pre-operational checks, inspect a site, plan work, fit attachments to machine, conduct pre-start up checks and shutdown checks, drive to the work area, Backfill a trench and load or simulate loading a truck, spread soil and level a surface, pick up and shift material with a bucket, shut down equipment and secure a site. Training consists of 20 hours training in theory and practical units.

This course will teach you to safely operate an Excavator as per Workcover NSW regulations. Learn to conduct pre-operational inspections and checks, Inspect the worksite and fit necessary attachments to machine, Conduct pre-start up checks, Drive the Excavator to the job site, Operate the Excavator, Shut Down the equipment and secure the site. ELEVATED WORK PLATFORM -SCISSOR LIFT COURSE- National Yellow Card Course
This course is known as the "Yellow Card" it is a nationally recognised course and qualification for operation of elevated work platforms known as scissor lift machines. Non Slewing Crane Course for workcover CN Photo Licence and units of competency MNMG234A Conduct Non-Slewing Crane operatons covers the lifting and positioning of loads using a non-slewing crane other than gantry cranes. Course involves 3 full days of training and 1 full day assessment. Applicants must be able to provide 100 points of identification as per Workcover requirements. A $65 licence application fee will also apply when successful applicant lodges paperwork at Authorised Post Office for Workcover to process.Course fees are GST exempt.
