This course is funded by the Australian Government to provide people over 50 the opportunity to learn how to use a computer. This is a short introductory course that will give you the basics on how to turn on and use a computer, create files/folders, and use the internet and email. THIS COURSE IS FREE TO ELIGIBLE PEOPLE AGED OVER 50. Limited places available, courses run between 9am and 4pm subject to volunteer tutor availability. Robinson College and Charles Sturt University provide FREE access to computers to students who are currently enrolled in a course in Broken Hill. These community computers have access to broadband internet, a colour printer, and dvd burners. Limited Computers and time slots are available so bookings are necessary to use these computers. Bookings are available only during normal office hours and a maximum of 2 hours per session per computer. To book call 8087 6022 or click contact us for more details.

Robinson College has computers available for anyone to use to check email, burn DVDs in fact just about anything you like. The computers have broadband access, printer, DVD burner, and Microsoft Office software available. If you are not a student of the college you only pay $5 for half an hour access, and a FREE cappucino, latte or hot chocolate. Limited Access available during normal office hours only, please call to book a computer.
